Broken Matt & Brother Nero Emerge In WWE NXT Vignette, Facing DarkState In Broken Rules Match At Halloween Havoc PLE

Matt and Jeff walked into the Lake of Reincarnation.

It was advertised that DarkState would be getting their rematch against The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) for the NXT Tag Team Championship at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc.

There was a DarkState vignette, but it was cut off by a vignette from The Hardys. They were at The Hardy Compound, and appearing in their video were Matt Hardy’s children, Señor Benjamin and Reby Hardy.

Matt and Jeff walked themselves into the Lake of Reincarnation, and they remerged as Broken Matt and Brother Nero. Broken Matt proposed a Broken Rules stipulation for the title defense against DarkState at Halloween Havoc, and it was made official.
