Drew McIntyre Names Cain Velasquez, Hornswoggle And More On His Wrestler Bar Fight Team

Drew McIntyre names his wrestling bar fight team.

For many wrestlers, bar fights are not something that they go out of their way to have, but the hypothetical idea of having a couple of friends by your side in a barroom brawl has been one broached to several wrestlers in recent years, now with Drew McIntyre giving his answer.

While speaking on the latest episode of the No-Contest Wrestling podcast, McIntyre was asked to name his ultimate four man bar fight team.

“Brock popped in my head right away. Yeah, I mean, he’s the kind of guy, like I’ve been in a ring with certain guys, like Big Show, Mark Henry and the likes, where they grab you and you’re like, they could do anything with me right now, but if you let me go, I’m going to run away. So let’s go….Yeah, Brock. (Cain) Velazquez was there for a minute. He’s one of the only few humans that could be up Brock, so let’s go Velazquez. He was there. I remember meeting him like Saudi one time. I was chatting with him for a minute. Haku. Yeah, I mean, it’s always like a given. The funny thing is, if you get to know him, you get to meet him, whatever. He’s the nicest guy in the world. It’s always the nicest guys. I mean, like me, I’m the nicest guy in the world, and TJ Lee said, I’m always going to come up in those conversations as one of the tough guys backstage because it’s the nice guys you got to watch out for. Okay, so we got Brock Velasquez, Haku. Do we need someone to sacrifice? Hornswoggle. That would make some of the boys happy because he drove some of the boys mental. I always got on great with him, but he drove some of the boys mental. They would end up kicking his arse, and you know what? It was totally justified them kicking his arse. So we’ll sacrifice Swoggle while the rest of us beat everyone else’s arse because who’s beating that team?”
