NJPW Announces 31,548 Fans Have Already Bought Tickets For Wrestle Kingdom 20, Highest Since Wrestle Kingdom 14

NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 is still two months away, but over 30,000 fans have already purchased tickets for the event.

NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi announced that 31,548 have bought tickets for the show on January 4, 2026. The company is hoping to sell out the Tokyo Dome for their biggest show of the year, which will feature Tanahashi’s retirement match.

Just announced by President Hiroshi Tanahashi, THANK YOU to the 31,548 who have already bought tickets to the Tokyo Dome!

Let’s sell out on January 4!

For comparison, Wrestle Kingdom 19 drew 24,107 fans, Wrestle Kingdom 18 drew 27,422, and Wrestle Kingdom 17 drew 26,085 fans. The last Wrestle Kingdom with over 30,000 in attendance was Wrestle Kingdom 14. Night one of WK 14, headlined by Kazuchika Okada vs. Kota Ibushi drew 40,008 fans. Night two, headlined by Okada vs. Tetsuya Naito, drew 30,063.
