Kenny Omega Labels Hangman Adam Page As ‘The Ace Of AEW’

Omega feels Hangman Adam Page is the guy.

NJPW WORLD is rolling out a series of sit-down interviews that were conducted by NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi on his road to retirement.

One of the guests who stopped through to chat with Tanahashi was Kenny Omega. One of the questions Tanahashi asked Omega was who Kenny thinks is ‘The Ace’ of All Elite Wrestling. Omega named the current AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page.

Tanahashi: “So who do you think is the Ace of AEW?”

Omega: “Right now…”

Tanahashi: “Kenny.”

Omega: “No! Definitely not me. I’d say Hangman. He’s a great guy, and he can wrestle all kinds of styles. AEW is an American company, but we showcase a lot of different styles. There’s some lucha, some Strong Style, deathmatch as well. Hangman’s deathmatches have been scary. But he’s been able to work that style. He can handle anything, and he’s a genuinely great guy. He was my first tag partner in AEW. It’s all in the heart.”

Hangman Page has had five successful defenses in this current reign as AEW World Champion. His next will be against Samoa Joe at the Full Gear pay-per-view.
