Travel is a large part of a wrestler’s schedule, especially for talent with WWE and AEW as they travel the globe for events. For champions, they also have the added issue of bringing championship belts with them through security.

While speaking to Beyond The Match Wrestling, Dominik Mysterio was asked about life as a double champion, recalling the issues he had with Brisbane Airport security.

“It’s heavy. It’s heavy, to be honest with you, and I went to- I landed in the- how do you pronounce it? Brisbane? Brisbane Airport, and they made it a huge f***ing deal with my…- it’s like they’ve never seen a champion before. I don’t know if you Australians just aren’t used to winning. I mean, you got… I mean, Jack (Della Maddalena) was here, so I should probably be careful. You know, UFC champion might get me. But I don’t know. Security made it a hassle. But no, being a double champ is hard, man. Double champion is hard. You got people coming to your left, to your right, behind you, always trying to take my title. So it’s not easy being the greatest Mysterio of all time.”

Dominik currently holds the WWE Intercontinental Championship and AAA Mega Championship.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Dominik once again called John Cena out. You can read more about that here.
