Jim Ross Says He Plans To Be Calling AEW Matches Again ‘In The Next Few Weeks’

Jim Ross is set to return to the AEW commentary booth.

Jim Ross has battled a variety of health issues over the past year, and hasn’t been on commentary for AEW since AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in August.

Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast with Conrad Thompson, Ross was asked if the plan was to return soon.

“Yeah, absolutely. That’s the plan. In the next few weeks. I’m excited about that opportunity,” he said.

Ross has missed AEW All Out and WrestleDream. He has become a specialized announcer for AEW, joining the booth for the main event matches.

AEW’s next pay-per-view is AEW Full Gear on November 22nd.
