It is coming up on a full month that Tatum Paxley has been the NXT Women’s Champion. She captured the title by defeating Jacy Jayne at the Halloween Havoc Premium Live Event.
Paxley’s road to becoming champion was reflected on during her appearance on Eat Sleep Podcast Repeat. Here’s what she had to say about her journey:
“I haven’t been able to find one word for it, because I’ve been asked the question a lot. Just like you said, it’s been four long years and it kind of just, all of a sudden, now Tatum Paxley’s your NXT Women’s Champion. Even if I rewind back four years ago to when I officially got signed to WWE, I didn’t even have a word for that then either. It’s just almost like this indescribable feeling to be where I am right now and to get this kind of opportunity. It’s insane, I guess is the best word, for a lack of better words. Insane.”
Next up on the docket for Paxley is week one of NXT Gold Rush, where she will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Jacy Jayne.
