Vinny Pacifico Discusses Landing Movie Opportunities, Playing A Villain In Horror Film

Vinny Pacifico remains busy in the ring and on the screen.

The energetic independent wrestler is currently filming “Fragmented Mind,” where he plays a horror villain.

Joining Jeremy Lambert & Joel Pearl on In The Weeds, Vinny discussed working on the film.

“We just wrapped up day one of filming ‘Fragmented Mind,’ a horror anthology. I left the set and said, ‘This is one of the best days of my life.’

“I’ve been doing a bunch of different movies throughout the whole year. Been very lucky to be able to do that stuff. I did a horror film in September with Xander Goldman, it was called ‘Crimson Harvest.’ It was a really fun time. I played an evil tech dude. It was a cool opportunity to play a different character than I’m used to. It went well, I met a lot of great people, and it started to snowball. Other films are coming my way and it’s growing and growing into a cool situation where I can wrestle and do movies every week. I’m constantly busy and I love the opportunity to be that busy. It snowballed into meeting more people. I went to a HorrorCon, met some more directors.”

Vinny continued, “I think I impressed playing a horror villain in ‘Crimson Harvest’ and that has led to more opportunities. I had a scene with a monologue where I talked to the family, and I think the scene went well, and that’s leading to more stuff. [In Fragmented Mind], I had a scene at the table having dinner — it’s an anthology where it’s veterans going through post-war psychological issues and I had to get myself in that mode to play the character Jon Hook. Being able to adapt to different roles is something I enjoy doing.”
