John Cena To Defend WWE Intercontinental Title Against Dominik Mysterio At WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
John Cena makes it official on WWE Raw.
Cena kicked off the show with a surge of energy, as the Madison Square Garden crowd in New York was in full support of him. Before he could get a word out, Cena was drowned out with “Thank You Cena” chants that came from every corner of the historic arena.
The warm welcome was returned by Cena, who held his Intercontinental Championship high and proud. Cena started to reflect on his history with Madison Square Garden before being interrupted by Dominik Mysterio. ‘Dirty Dom’ trashed Cena and said that he wanted a rematch for the title that he lost last week.
Mysterio refused to have the match on Raw, saying that he wants to face the ‘Never Seen 17’ at Survivor Series: War Games in San Diego. Cena accepted before reminding everyone that he promised to wrestle at Madison Square Garden.

Finn Balor and JD McDonagh were out next. The group proceeded to beat down Cena until Sheamus made the save. The numbers advantage caught up to Sheamus before Rey Mysterio evened the odds.
