Tony Khan Speaks About Andrade: “Anytime He’s Free & Whenever That Is, He Is Absolutely Always Welcome In AEW”

Andrade has not been on AEW programming for one month.

After departing WWE, Andrade made his way back to All Elite Wrestling. He showed up at the sixth anniversary of Dynamite and ambushed Kenny Omega. Andrade would go on to join The Don Callis Family.

That was in early October, and Andrade has not been on AEW programming since then. While guest appearing on The Ariel Helwani Show, AEW President Tony Khan spoke about Andrade and said he’s welcome in AEW whenever he’s ‘free.’

“I think the world of Andrade. I had a great experience with him, and he left on the best of terms — the original time — and now, when he said he was free and made his one-night appearance, I was thrilled to see him again, and anytime he’s free and whenever that is, he is absolutely always welcome in AEW.” Khan was asked if Andrade misrepresented his status before returning to AEW, and he replied, “I can’t speak to that… It is an interesting situation that I am gonna keep an eye on, but I absolutely think the world of Andrade El Idolo.”

Andrade last wrestled on October 3rd for The Crash promotion in Mexico. He won the promotion’s Heavyweight Championship.
