Tony Khan Hoping Will Ospreay’s AEW Return Will Happen In First Half Of 2026
A potential timetable for Ospreay’s return.
A Lights Out Steel Cage match headlined the 2025 installment of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in late August. That bout was the last time Will Ospreay wrestled before stepping away from the ring to undergo neck surgery.
A potential timeline for Ospreay’s return was given by AEW President Tony Khan. Khan joined The Ariel Helwani Show and said he is hopeful that Ospreay will be back in the first half of 2026.
“Will Ospreay’s gonna be back with AEW, I think, hopefully earlier next year. I can’t say exactly when but it’ll be next year, and I hope it’ll be in the first half of next year…”
