CW President: The Women Of NXT Are Better Than The Men, NXT Women’s Division Is The Strongest In WWE

WWE signed a five-year deal with the CW Network in 2024 to bring NXT to the network.
Speaking to Sports Business Journal, Brad Schwartz, President of Entertainment at The CW Network, discussed the partnership between the two brands.
“What NXT offered us was the opportunity to have live-event programming 52 weeks a year on a Tuesday night (and not just weekend programming like their other sports properties). And so that was a really, really big move for us. We can try and turn these wrestlers into stars, we can market it, we can promote it, we can put the whole machine of Nexstar behind getting people to watch it and know that the value of that growth comes back to us for the next five years,” he said.
Schwarts also commented, “I think the women of NXT are better than the men. The women’s division of NXT is probably the strongest in all of WWE wrestling.”
NXT airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
