During the second hour of AEW Dynamite, Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa teamed to face Riho and Alex Windsor in the first round of the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament. The match heavily favored Riho and Windsor, as it came just one week after Storm and Shirakawa competed in the Women’s Blood & Guts match.
Still, the Timeless Love Bombs were able to score the shock victory, as Toni Storm pinned Alex Windsor after spiking her with a piledriver.

Later on in the night, Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir teamed to face the long-time duo of Anna Jay and Tay Conti. Despite their inexperience as a team, Shafir and Bayne picked up the victory over TayJay, as Shafir submitted Conti with her Mother’s Milk submission.
