Kris Statlander On Women’s Blood & Guts Match: A Lot Of Us Are Insane, It Was Very Enjoyable
Kris Statlander had an amazing time in Blood & Guts.
Statlander, Jamie Hayter, Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa, Harley Cameron, and Willow Nightingale were unfortunately unable to pick up the victory in the brutal cage match, as Storm surrendered after watching the opposing team brutally attack Shirakawa.
Still, everyone on Statlander’s team had a great time with the match. Speaking with New York Post Sports, the AEW Women’s World Champion recalled the “very enjoyable” experience.
“I think all of us collectively had shockingly an amazing time doing it. A lot of us are insane people and it was very enjoyable, getting to showcase another side of our abilities. Sometimes, putting those moments together and whatnot, it’s not really about thinking like, ‘We have to go out there and we have to do this, this, and this.’ I think we have so many talented people that we were naturally able to come up with all of these moments and memorable things and exceed all these expectations because of the caliber of performs we had in the match itself.”
