Yoshiki Inamura vs. OZAWA For GHC Heavyweight Title, Hiromu Takahashi Defending GHC Jr. Title Added To NOAH The New Year 2026

NOAH The New Year additions.

Pro Wrestling NOAH is building up to its first show of 2026, titled NOAH The New Year. The event is taking place at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan, on January 1st.

There is going to be a GHC Heavyweight Championship bout on the show as Yoshiki Inamura will defend against the returning OZAWA. After Inamura successfully defended the belt against Kaito Kiyomiya at NOAH’s 11/21 show, OZAWA jumped in the ring with his walking boot to confront the champion. OZAWA is on the mend after undergoing ligament reconstruction surgery on his foot in September.

New Japan’s Hiromu Takahashi is the reigning GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion. He is set to defend the belt at NOAH The New Year against AMAKUSA. Their match was set up after Takahashi won NOAH’s 2025 Jr. Grand Prix tournament.

Below is the updated card for NOAH The New Year 2026:

  • GHC Heavyweight Championship: Yoshiki Inamura (c) vs. OZAWA
  • GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship: Hiromu Takahashi (c) vs. AMAKUSA
  • GHC National Championship: Dragon Bane (c) vs. Alpha Wolf
