Penta advances in the Last Time is Now tournament on WWE SmackDown.
Finn Balor and Penta went head-to-head on SmackDown in the opening round of the Last Time is Now tournament.

The bout was short, with both men getting their offense in. Balor looked to end the match with Coup de Grace, but Penta got out of the way. Shortly after, he hit Balor with a Mexican Destroyer to get the win.

Earlier on SmackDown, Bronson Reed and Carmelo Hayes battled in the opening round of the Last Time is Now tournament. Hayes ended up winning this match and will face Gunther on Raw next week.
Penta will also face Solo Sikoa on the show in the quarterfinals.
