Big Boom AJ Was Blown Away Watching Will Ospreay Wrestle For The First Time

Big Boom AJ speaks about Will Ospreay.

AJ would return to the world of pro wrestling at AEW Full Gear last year after walking away from the sport in the mid 2000s. Ospreay’s style is one that was not as popular when AJ walked away from the sport, but when he was introduced to Will’s in ring abilities while visiting backstage while the promotion were in Chicago.

While speaking to Renee Paquette on Close Up, Big Boom AJ highlighted how he was blown away when he first watched Ospreay wrestle.

“To go back to what you were saying, can you imagine walking away from pro wrestling in 2005, not really watching a lot of wrestling in those years, and then coming back to Chicago and seeing Will Ospreay? I mean, Will, I was looking at Will Ospreay, I was like, what is this guy doing right now? This is the craziest wrestling I’ve ever seen.”
