Mark Briscoe Reflects On AEW TNT Title Win: “I Never Necessarily Thought That Nights Like Tonight Would Happen”

A new AEW TNT Champion was crowned at the Full Gear pay-per-view. Mark Briscoe bested Kyle Fletcher to capture the championship.

At the Full Gear post-show media scrum, Mark Briscoe said the following about the accolade:

“I mean, it’s amazing. I never necessarily thought that nights like tonight would happen. I’m a tag team wrestler. I’ve always been a tag team wrestler. So it’s been three years now that I’ve put that behind me, and so… really amazing. I wanna thank Tony (Khan), I wanna thank family, thank God and thank all y’all, all the fans, everybody who supports… I can’t really quite find the words but, it feel pretty good, feel pretty good.”

The title win is Briscoe’s first under the All Elite Wrestling banner. Fletcher was the TNT Champion for 114 days.
