Bret Hart: Jake Roberts And Hulk Hogan Never Passed The Torch To Anybody, Two Of The Biggest Pieces Of Sh*t In Wrestling

Bret Hart shoots on Hulk Hogan and Jake Roberts in a recent interview.

Speaking on the Johnny I Pro Show, Bret Hart was discussing his WrestleMania 8 match with Roddy Piper and how Piper helped him perform at a next level. Fans can read his comments here.

But he closed the discussion by taking shots at Hulk Hogan and Jake Roberts. Hart said Roddy Piper passed the torch to him, unlike guys like Hogan and Roberts, who didn’t do it for anyone.

“Roddy knew how to make a hero. I was trying to, you know, in those days, trying to climb up to the next level, and Roddy was really the first guy to reach down and pull someone like me up to the next level and pass that torch. In contrast to guys like Jake Roberts and Hulk Hogan, who never passed the torch to anybody. All they did is take and take and take and never ever help anybody. Two of the biggest pieces of shit in wrestling.”

Fans can check out the full interview below:

It’s not the first time Hart has discussed these two stars negatively. Hart has consistently said Hulk Hogan didn’t want him to succeed, for instance.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Hart took a dig at Goldberg once again. Fans can read more about it here.
