Ethan Page Says He Had Three Contracts During His Stay At His Previous Employer, ‘No One Knew Anything About Any Of Them’
Ethan Page is keeping his contract situation close to the vest.
Page signed with WWE in May 2024, meaning he’s 18 months into his current run. Page has accomplished a lot in those 18 months, winning the NXT Championship and NXT North American Championship.
Speaking to Adam Silverstein on Getting Over, after noting that WWE should sign Je’Von Evans to a 15-year contract, Page was asked if there have been any contract extension talks with him.
“I don’t like to divulge my personal information. I’ll just give you this: in my previous employer, I had three contracts during my stay and no one knew anything about any of them,” he said.
Page didn’t offer further details. He was with AEW/ROH from March 2021 to February 2024. He was also part of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling from 2017 to 2021.
In WWE, Page is the reigning NXT North American Champion and one-half of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions with Chelsea Green.
Elsewhere during the interview, Page explained why he doesn’t like the term “main roster.” You can find his full comments here.
