Swerve Strickland & Hangman Adam Page Target The Opps On 11/26 AEW Dynamite, Takes Out Opps Dojo Members
Strickland and Hangman unite.
The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata & Powerhouse Hobbs) appeared in the ring on the 11/26 AEW Dynamite, fresh off of Samoa Joe becoming a two-time AEW World Champion at the Full Gear pay-per-view.
Joe defeated Hangman Adam Page in a Steel Cage match to win the title after HOOK got involved and realigned with The Opps. Swerve Strickland made his return to AEW at the conclusion of the pay-per-view to help Page fend off The Opps.
On Dynamite, Strickland showed up in a vehicle that was driven by Prince Nana. Strickland was flanked by Hangman Page. Samoa Joe ordered members of The Opps dojo to come guard the ring and the entrance ways that Strickland and Page were coming from.
Joe proceeded to kick it over to a video package, which showed that HOOK realigning with The Opps was always the plan. Joe added that they used HOOK to neutralize Eddie Kingston. HOOK and Kingston had been teaming up.
HOOK got on the microphone and said the crowd does not realize they’re watching the greatest second-generation wrestler in the business.
Strickland and Hangman Page showed up near the back entrance, and they fought off members of The Opps dojo. When Hangman and Swerve hit the ring, The Opps took off. The former AEW World Champions took care of the remaining Opps dojo members and proceeded to hang two of them over the top rope with metal chains.
