Jushin Thunder Liger Comes Out Of Retirement, Wrestles Joey Janela At WrestleCade
Liger comes out of retirement.
The annual WrestleCade weekend is emanating from the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
WrestleCade presents a show as well, and one of the matches on the weekend saw Joey Janela clash with Jushin Thunder Liger. Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp was present and noted that Liger wrestled a four-minute match against Janela.

The 61-year-old Liger last wrestled in January 2020 at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14. He had two matches at the two-night event to wrap up his in-ring career. In what was billed as his final match, Liger teamed with Naoki Sano to take on Dragon Lee and Hiromu Takahashi.
