Daria Berenato (Sonya Deville) To Star In Horror-Comedy Film
A new project for the former WWE talent.
Deadline published a story which notes that former WWE talent Daria Berenato a.k.a. Sonya Deville is set for a comedy-horror movie titled ‘Zombois.’
Berenato will star in the project alongside Tuc Watkins, Thomas Dekker, Brenna D’Amico, Adam Huss and Aaron Goldenberg.
Production is set to begin this month in Atlanta, Georgia. The synopsis of the film will see a group of college seniors in the North Georgia Mountains who discover a secret that turns their getaway into a ‘brutal battle for survival.’
Berenato is being represented by Luber Roklin Entertainment and A.G.M.B. (Abrams Garfinkel Margolis Bergson).
During the summer of 2025, Berenato did an interview with Chris Van Vliet and stated that she’s retired from wrestling ‘for now.’ In February, she was informed that her WWE contract would not be renewed. She had been with WWE for a decade.
