AJ Styles And Dragon Lee Defeat The New Day To Retain WWE World Tag Titles On WWE Raw

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee retain tag gold.
After weeks of complaining and pandering, the New Day finally got the chance to challenge for tag team gold on the December 1 episode of WWE Raw, as they faced Dragon Lee and AJ Styles for the WWE World Tag Team Championships.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods did not back up their fighting words, as Lee and Styles came out with the huge victory. Styles pinned Kingston after planting him with a mid-air catch Styles Clash.

With the win, Styles and Lee’s reign with the WWE World Tag Team Championships sits at the 43 day mark. This was their second successful defense of the titles after winning them from Finn Balor and JD McDonagh on the October 20 episode of WWE Raw.
With the loss, the duo of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods continue their 2 v. 2 losing streak, as they last won a standard televised tag match back in May.
