Speedball Mike Bailey discusses his upcoming inclusion in the AEW Continental Classic.

This year’s Continental Classic in AEW marks the third year that the company has ran the round robin tournament in the final months of the year. Amongst the competitors in this year’s tournament are Jet Speed, as Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight have both found themselves in the Gold League.

While speaking on his latest vlog, Speedball spoke about entering the tournament this year, noting his excitement to getting back to singles matches with it.

“Okay, hello friends, it’s Wednesday, you know that means, we are in Nashville for the beginning of the Continental Classic. We’ve got some Blue League and Gold League matches announced for Dynamite, but there’s more coming up on Collision, which is filmed later today, and I think I might be starting off with a real big one tonight, so I’m pumped. I am super excited for the Continental Classic. I can’t tell you guys, it’s been- Jet Speed has been amazing. It’s been a blessing. Every single match we’ve had has been super fun, but I am really looking forward to getting back to doing some singles matches, to working as a singles wrestler, especially with everyone that’s up in the Gold League. Me versus Kyle Fletcher, me versus Okada, me versus Kevin, me versus Darby, and also me versus Pac, all fucking bangers. So, a lot of excitement, but a lot of pressure today, and I’m feeling it.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Speedball and Kevin Knight discussed taking on The Opps with Willow Nightingale by their side. You can read more about that here.
