Speedball Mike Bailey discusses feeling like an underdog in the AEW Continental Classic.

For the first time in their career, Speedball has entered the Continental Classic in the tournament’s third year, and was placed into the Gold League alongside his Jet Speed tag team partner, Kevin Knight. In his first bout of the tournament, Bailey would come up short to PAC, leaving him 0-1 so far in the tournament.

While speaking on the latest episode of his vlog, Speedball Mike Bailey discussed his opening round match with PAC in the Continental Classic, noting that he feels like an underdog in a way he hasn’t felt in AEW so far.

“I think I’ve been putting off talking about it because it was a heartbreaking start to my Continental classic. A rough defeat to the Bastard, PAC. I didn’t need that loss. I needed that win. I feel like the underdog in that tournament in a way that I haven’t felt in AEW since I got there.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Speedball and Kevin Knight discussed taking on The Opps with Willow Nightingale by their side. You can read more about that here.
