Claudio Castagnoli looks back on adding a twist to his WWE entrance.
In April of 2016, Claudio would return to WWE after time on the shelf with a torn rotator cuff injury, returning with a brand new James Bond inspired entrance that featured the Swiss superstar tearing away the suit on the stage to reveal his ring gear. Now, Claudio has revealed an interesting aspect to the entrance.
While speaking to Wrestling Republic in a recent interview, Claudio Castagnoli was asked about the entrance, noting that he actually made the tearaway suit he used during his entrances in WWE.
“So I was injured. I had a rotator cuff injury. So I was out for about four months and I just wanted to come back with something new, something different, have an impact, kind of evolve my personality and look. And I thought that would be a really cool thing. So I actually made that tearaway suit myself. I just thought it was something really cool and something that people would hopefully enjoy, because I love it.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Claudio spoke about sharing a vision with Jon Moxley. You can read more about that here.
