Kyle Fletcher previews his upcoming match with Kevin Knight in the 2025 AEW Continental Classic.

Fletcher is currently part of the AEW Continental Classic tournament field along with Kevin Knight, with both men sharing the current lead of the Gold League. On the December 3rd edition of AEW Dynamite, Knight and Fletcher are scheduled to face off in the tournament.

While speaking to MAXimum Rock, Kyle Fletcher spoke about the upcoming bout with Knight, remarking his belief that Kevin is in the spot he was in a few short years ago.

“Dude I think he is so cool, I think I had… it was an eight-man tag just a couple months ago in Philadelphia and that was the first time I’d ever gotten in the ring with him and that was I could just tell, he’s a special talent, man. He’s so capable, it feels like he is in the spot that I was in a few years ago. He’s just coming to AEW, he’s a part of a great tag team, Jet Speed right now, he’s doing some great things, and now he’s in the Continental Classic, getting able to show what he’s made of on his own, kind of for the first time. Not for the first time obviously but like with with this amount of eyes on him, and (he’s) been given this awesome opportunity and if last week’s anything to go by, he’s gonna take it by the horns and fucking run with it, man. So it’s- I’m sure he’s coming in pretty excited for this one and I’m doing the same thing. We’re both on top of the leaderboard, so it’s gonna be a good one, I think.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Fletcher spoke about recently wrestling Okada again. You can read more about that here.
