Carlos Silva Confirms Details On TNA Genesis

On October 12, TNA Wrestling announced that TNA Genesis would take place in Dallas, Texas in 2026.
An exact date was not given for the event.
Appearing on The Ariel Helwani Show, TNA President Carlos Silva confirmed that the event will take place on Saturday, January 17.
“The pay-per-views will stay the same,” Silva said when asked if the PPVs would remain unchanged with the new AMC partnership. “We’ll have four pay-per-views in 2026. We have Genesis, which will be right after our live debut on AMC, on the Saturday after. That will be the first big pay-per-view of the year.”
The first Genesis took place in 2005, becoming a traditional TNA pay-per-view. Genesis was brought back in 2025 after being on hiatus since 2021. Genesis 2025 took place in Garland, TX and was headlined by Nic Nemeth taking on Joe Hendry for the TNA World Title.
TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! will premiere on AMC with a live episode on January 15th from the Curtis Culwell Center. Fans can learn more about TNA moving to AMC by clicking here.
