Dezmond Xavier Reflects On TNA Return, ‘It’s Hands Down The Best Locker Room I’ve Ever Been In’
At TNA Turning Point, Dezmond Xavier (Wes Lee in WWE) made his return to TNA Wrestling following his WWE release.
He reunited with The Rascalz, marking the first time all four Rascalz (Dez, Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, Myron Reed) had teamed in TNA. The quartet defeated The System (Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, JDC, and Moose) in an eight-man tag.
Speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Dez looked back on his TNA return.
“Surreal. People don’t understand that it took eight years for the Rascalz, all four of us, to be together under the same roof and same ring. That is a night that will live on forever in my mind. Tears were shed before, during, and after. For us the share the ring with four dudes that we also have a great relationship with, all of us have looked up to Eddie because he did a great job of taking us under his wing when we were signed to TNA. Moose has been a great brother to us as well. JDC is one of the people who make you feel good about being in the locker room. When he mentioned on TNA that this was hands down the best locker room that he’s ever been a part of, that’s not a lie. TNA has, hands down, the best locker room that I’ve ever been in. We’ve been in a lot. Everybody cares about the next man. They want to see the best out of them and they will let you know what it takes to get the best out of them,” said Dez.
Wentz said that JDC was basically his dad.
Elsewhere during the interview, Dez commented on the support he received following his WWE release. You can find his full comments here.
