Izzy Moreno On WWE ID: It’s A Lovely Program, I’ve Gotten A Lot Of Good Feedback From It

Izzy Moreno praises WWE ID.

During WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas, Izzy Moreno made her debut for the WWE ID program, facing Zara Zakher at GCW’s WWE ID Championship tournament event. This was also her debut for GCW.

Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Moreno spoke about the “wonderful” program and how she loves the opportunities that it offers to independent wrestlers.

“I think that program’s really awesome because just the opportunities it offers to indie wrestlers like me. It’s a really lovely program. I’ve been so honored to be able to work with it a couple times. I’ve done two of the ID shows. No, I’m not ID’d. Just had to lay the land just because people think I’m ID and I’m like, ‘No, I’m not.’ No, I’ve gotten a lot of good feedback from it. I think for me, the coolest part is like, ‘Okay, I can hang on that level and I can perform on that stage.’ I think when I was on the ID show in Vegas, that was really awesome to work with somebody like Zara Zakher. That really meant a lot for me and then especially on that platform. Then I did another ID show in July when I worked Zayda Steel and I love Zeta. So it was just, it was so much fun. So anytime like those opportunities come by, I’m really lucky and grateful. But no, overall it’s a wonderful program.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Izzy Moreno spoke about being involved in the speculation surrounding Mercedes Mone’s open challenge for AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday. Check out her full comments by clicking here.
