NXT and TNA Brawl To Close Final Resolution After Frankie Kazarian’s Successful World Title Defense

In what is likely the final world championship match of his career, JDC fell short against Frankie Kazarian at TNA Final Resolution. Kazarian successfully defended his title for the first time after capturing it from Mike Santana on the November 13 edition of iMPACT.
For what it’s worth, JDC had Kazarian pinned but the referee was down and was unable to count the pin. A new referee came into the mix as Kazarian put JDC to sleep in the middle of the ring.
After the match, chaos ensued when The System came to check on their stablemate. All of the NXT competitors stormed the ring to take out Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, and Moose. The NXT wrestlers were going to set the TNA logo on fire, but instead the TNA locker room made the save. The show came to a close with the new TNA International Champion Stacks superkicking Santino Marella.
Earlier in the night, JDC laid down the challenge to Eddie Edwards at Genesis. Sadly for The System, that will not be a championship match. Edwards still has to respond to JDC’s message, though all signs are pointing towards that being JDC’s retirement match next month.
Kazarian has no clear challenger in sight, but all of those questions will be answered as TNA is hosting a set of TV tapings these next two nights in El Paso, TX. They kept teasing a Steel Cage match, but no competitors have been announced for the match itself.
