While intergender wrestling is common place in most countries around the world on the independent circuit, but not as common in major companies such as WWE or AEW. That being said, passionate advocate for women being able to wrestle men, Charli Evans, has one AEW star in mind for a dream singles match.
While speaking to Wombreezy in a new interview, Charli Evans spoke about a potential match with Eddie Kingston, believing that the bout will happen before Eddie steps away from independent wrestling bookings next year.
“I don’t want to do an intergender match. I want to beat the fuck out of him, and I want him to beat the fuck out of me. Eddie Kingston. I want this match so bad it’s like gotta make it happen. I have a year to do it. He’s stopping indie booking to be here, so i have a year to do it. There’s no way that it’s not going to (happen). There’s no way that I’d be able to keep wrestling if that didn’t happen and I don’t think there’s a way that he would stop independent bookings if that didn’t happen.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Charli spoke about preferring to sign with AEW to WWE if given the chance. You can read more about that here.
