Je’Von Evans Challenging Oba Femi For The NXT Championship On Tuesday’s WWE NXT
Je’Von Evans is getting an early shot at the NXT Championship.
Following his big win over Ricky Starks at NXT Deadline, Oba Femi kicked off Tuesday’s episode of NXT with the NXT Championship around his shoulder again. Femi admitted that Starks got one over on him at the No Mercy event before saying that NXT wasn’t the same without ‘The Ruler’ on top.
Femi continued on and briefly touched on his match with Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event, claiming that Rhodes will look at him and not see the future, but the now.
Ricky Saints was out moments later, admitting that his fair loss to Femi at Deadline. Saints briefly doubted his championship future before coming to the realization that he wants his rematch for the title, reminding everyone that the current score between himself and Femi is 1-1.
Je’Von Evans interrupted next and quickly made it known that he doesn’t want to wait until New Year’s Evil to challenge for the NXT Championship. In fact, Evans said that he wants to challenge for the title tonight. Femi reminded Evans that he has never beaten him before seemingly accepting the match proposal.
