At WWE Extreme Rules 2019, Dyer would team with Lacey Evans to challenge Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins for both the WWE Universal Championship and the RAW Women’s Championship.

While speaking to The Sportster in a new interview, Bishop Dyer would reflect on hitting the End Of Days on Becky Lynch at the pay-per-view, noting that it was a Vince McMahon idea and that he was excited from the moment he heard about the spot.

“It was not, and as soon as it was told to me, I was so excited, smiling ear to ear. I was like, cause we never do it. It was Vince’s idea and I think a lot of things in wrestling are overdone so much was something at the time hadn’t been done in years and in Philly of all places, so it was pretty awesome.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Dyer spoke about his NXT entrance and who played a big part of bringing it to life. You can read more about that here.
