Emily Jaye Says She Loves Working For AEW/ROH, Recalls Getting Dropkicked In The Throat

Emily Jaye loves working for AEW/ROH… when she isn’t getting dropkicked in the throat.

As she continues to build herself up on the independent scene in New Jersey and North Carolina, Emily Jaye has taken multiple extra jobs for AEW and Ring Of Honor. Jaye has only competed for the promotion once, teaming with Brittany Jade against Leyla Hirsch and Rachael Ellering for a ROH match back in January 2024.

Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Jaye stated that she loves working for either promotion, shouting their catering out in the process.

“I always love working for them. It’s always an amazing time. Catering’s really good. I’m a very picky eater. They have actual chicken. I don’t eat actual chicken, guys. I like fake chicken. Does that make sense? I like Tyson chicken nuggets. It has to be the dinosaur ones too. But I do eat their fruit. Their fruits are really good and then when they have all the snacks come out, I also eat that. Last time I went, they had Lay’s potato chips and I ate like three bags of them.”

Jaye went on to note that she has developed a reputation backstage as the girl that was dropkicked in the throat.

“I got a good dropkick in my throat. It was such a great time. The funny thing is, I don’t know if they would care, but certain people now know me backstage because they’re like, ‘Oh, you’re the girl who got the dropkick in the throat.’ I said, ‘Yeah.’”
