Emily Jaye Praises Billie Starkz For Talking Her Through A Match When She Was Sick, ‘She Made Everything So Easy To Flow Together’
Emily Jaye has high praise for Billie Starkz.
Despite only being 21 years old, Billie Starkz is considered to be a veteran of the wrestling industry at this point, as she’s been wrestling on a full-time basis since 2019.
Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Emily Jaye spoke about her recent Pro Wrestling Junkie match with Starkz, Allie Katch, and Brittnie Brooks. Jaye highlighted how Starkz helped her get through the match despite being very sick.
“Billie Starkz. 110%. So when I wrestled her, I was actually very sick that day and had no voice whatsoever, could barely function, was very tired, and when we were in the ring, she was talking me through everything. She was like, ‘We’re gonna do this, this, and this,’ and when we got in there, I was like, ‘I’m gonna forget everything. I’m screwed.’ But she made everything so easy to flow together. Like, if I got lost, she was like, ‘Okay, we’re just gonna do this,’ and I’m a very anxiety-filled person, and I’m like, ‘Guys, I don’t know what’s going on. I don’t even know my lefts and rights from each other. I don’t know what you want me to do.’ But she was very helpful and still one of my favorite people. Also Allie Katch in that match. Love Brittany, but I’m beating her ass.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Emily Jaye spoke about her work experiences with AEW/ROH. Fans can check out her full comments by clicking here.
