Finals Set In 2025 NJPW World Tag League
Gabe Kidd & Yota Tsuji will meet TMDK’s Zack Sabre Jr. & Ryohei Oiwa in the finals of NJPW World Tag League 2025.
The finals take place on Sunday, December 14. The event will air on NJPW World.
Kidd & Tsuji made the finals by defeating IWGP Tag Team Champion Knockout Brothers (Yuto-Ico & OSKAR) in the semifinals on December 12th. The finish saw the unlikely duo of Kidd & Tsuji put OSKAR down with the WAR BLASTER.
TMDK advanced to the finals by defeating Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) in the semifinals on December 10th. In the closing stretch of that bout, Oiwa hit a German suplex on Goto, and ZSJ followed with a jackknife cover.
During the round robin portion of the tournament, TMDK finished second in B Block with a 4-3 record and eight points. Kidd & Tsuji were second in A Block, going 5-2 for ten points.
The winners of World Tag League will challenge for the IWGP Tag Team Championships at Wrestle Kingdom on January 4th.
