AJ Styles & Dragon Lee Def. Leon Slater & Je’Von Evans At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

The first-ever X Division Champion pinned the current champion.

One of the matches on the bill for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on the night of John Cena’s final match was a tag team bout.

WWE World Tag Team Champions A.J. Styles and Dragon Lee clashed with NXT’s Je’Von Evans and TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater.

In what was a fast-paced match, it concluded with Styles hitting Slater with a Styles Clash to secure the win for his team. It was back over the summer that Styles returned to TNA at Slammiversary and had an in-ring moment with then-newly crowned X Division Champion Leon Slater.

After the match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Styles, Slater, Evans, and Lee all embraced and then did John Cena’s signature salute.
