Oba Femi comments on the fans’ reaction at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

At the show, NXT Champion Oba Femi wrestled the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in the opening match. The bout ended when Drew McIntyre interfered and attacked Rhodes, advancing their on-screen rivalry.

On Saturday Night’s Main Event Recap, Sam Roberts asked Oba to share his thoughts on crowd chanting his name against Cody during their match. He said:

“It just goes to show how much work I’ve put into this. I’m undeniable at this point, and the body of work in NXT spoke for itself. Tonight, the match paid dividends. The crowd reacted to me like I’ve been here for decades, like I’ve been here for a very long time. It didn’t feel like I didn’t belong. It didn’t feel like I was out of place. The work speaks for itself.”
