La Parka Says Arn Anderson Defended The Luchadors Against All The Racism In WCW

WCW became the American home for luchadors during the 90s with the likes of Rey Mysterio, Psicosis, La Parka, Juventud Guerrera, and more regularly competing on WCW Nitro.

La Parka managed to stand out by becoming “The Chairman” in the promotion, wrestling in high profile matches against Ultimo Dragon, Booker T, and Goldberg during his time in the promotion.

On social media, La Parka thanked Arn Anderson for always looking out for the luchadors.

“I want to send greetings to Mr. Arn Anderson because during my time at WCW he was one of the people who looked after us and defended us against all the racism that existed there. I will always be grateful to the great Mr. Arn Anderson.. I send him many blessings from the la park,” he wrote.

Parka remains active in the ring, competing for various promotions in Mexico. Arn Anderson was most recently working MLW alongside his son Brock Anderson.
