MVP says that he is hoping to remain active as a pro wrestler to lace up his boots when The Hurt Syndicate need a third.
Since coming to All Elite Wrestling, MVP has formed The Hurt Syndicate along with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, occasionally stepping into the ring when the faction requires him for a trios bout. That being said, he is not getting any younger, but when it comes to retirement, he isn’t thinking about it while the faction is active in All Elite Wrestling
While speaking to CHGO Wrestling in a new interview, MVP noted that he is not planning to retire from pro wrestling while The Hurt Syndicate remains active.
“I told him (Bobby Lashley), man, ‘I said, at this stage in my career, I feel great,’ because I haven’t officially retired yet. As long as the Hurt Syndicate is active, I’m not going to retire so that I can lace up the boots when we need a third. But I said, man, I got the best job in the world. My friends beat people up and I talk about it. Best job in the world. I don’t even have to wrestle.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, MVP shared a story about Shelton Benjamin’s athletic prowess in high school. You can read more about that here.
