In a couple of months, AEW will once again be heading back to Australia following the success of their first event in the country, and one of Australia’s top talents still competing regularly in the country is looking to make a name for herself on the card.
While speaking to Ella Jay for WrestleZone, Jessica Troy spoke about a potential matchup on the upcoming Grand Slam Australia card, naming several opponents she could see herself meshing well with on the show.
“My brain first just goes to someone to someone [Australian]. Obviously it went to Toni Storm because like Aussie versus Aussie. How sick would that be? Then I thought of Mercedes Mone because I’m like the battle of the meteoras, because we both do a bunch of double knees. Also like Kris Statlander, that would be so much fun. I’d love that,”
Recently, Charli Evans, a major rival for Troy in PWA, noted that she hopes to one day be signed to All Elite Wrestling. You can read more about that here.
