MJF Returns On AEW Dynamite, Executes Casino Gauntlet Contract To Be Added To AEW Title Bout At AEW Worlds End

MJF made his return on AEW Dynamite and immediately inserted himself in the title picture.

MJF interrupted the contract signing between AEW World Champion Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland, and Hangman Page, announcing that he would be executing his Casino Gauntlet contract and officially adding himself to the match at AEW Worlds End.

MJF explained that he’s cashing in and making it a four-way to prove that he’s not a coward like Hangman claimed. He said that he needed to hurt Hangman, and he would do it by beating him and his two biggest rivals.

MJF addressed Joe, saying he still hates him because he took the title from him two years ago and the people turned on him. MJF said the fans dictate who goes down as an all-time great, and he needs to go down as an all-time great.

He then turned his attention to Swerve, comparing him to P. Diddy by saying they are both dogshit rappers who use too much baby oil. MJF noted that they went their separate ways with MJF becoming a star in AEW and Swerve going to WWE where he twerked for Top Dolla. He ran down Swerve’s accomplishments in AEW, but said this is not Swerve’s house, it is his house, and that the rent is due.

MJF had been off television since AEW All Out when he lost a Tables N Tacks match to Mark Briscoe.

MJF won the Casino Gauntlet at AEW All In to earn a shot at the AEW World Title. Tony Khan would later state that he could not cash in at any time and instead had to give a one-week notice of his participation in the match.
