Seth Rollins Says He Had NFL Media Gigs Planned Before Injury, ‘We Were Gonna Do This No Matter What’

Seth Rollins had his NFL media gigs planned out ahead of time.
August was a hell of a month for ‘The Visionary’, as it kicked off when he captured the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk at SummerSlam. Later that month, Rollins was announced as a guest host for Good Morning Football as the NFL season kicked off.
Sadly, just two months later, Rollins suffered a shoulder injury at the Crown Jewel event. The injury has not stopped Rollins from continuing to take on various NFL media roles.
Speaking with Bleacher Report for a new interview, Rollins confirmed that he was always planned to continue his appearances regardless if he had wrestling commitments or not.
“This thing with the NFL and my injury, it was a happy coincidence. We were gonna do this no matter what. If I was still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, I was still gonna be a broadcaster on Good Morning Football weekly. I was still gonna do the Christmas Day game either way, so it’s nice that I can kind of put most of my focus on this pot a little bit. Obviously, if I was doing both, it would’ve been a little more difficult because I would’ve had to split it, but I love both. I love professional wrestling and I love professional football.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Rollins talked about his current plans after his in-ring retirement. Check out those comments by clicking here.
