On January 15th, TNA will begin a new era of airing on AMC in the United States, with the announcement about the new TV deal was announced earlier this month. Now, one of TNA’s top names has commented on his initial reaction to the companies new TV deal.
While speaking to the Sports Jedi Network in a new interview, Mike Santana was asked about his initial reaction to TNA achieving their goal of landing a significant TV deal.
“It was- I mean it was more of a- finally, the work paid off, and it’s going to pay off. Finally more people are going to get to see the hard work and dedication that goes into TNA and that TNA brings to the table. I’ve always said TNA for a long time has been like a hidden gem, right, and a lot of people didn’t have access to it because it’s not available on a major channel or this or that. There’s always been something, but now there’s no excuse. Now there’s no, there’s nothing stopping us other than ourselves, right? I think we’re going into an amazing time and an amazing era, and the fact that more people are going to be able to see everything is, is insane.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Santana spoke about losing the TNA World Title. You can read more about that here.
