AEW Continental Classic 2025 Night Eight Recap

Night eight of the 2025 AEW Continental Classic took place on December 20th as part of AEW Collision Holiday Bash.
In the Gold League, Jack Perry got on the board with a victory over “Speedball” Mike Bailey. The finish saw Perry hit a teardrop suplex for the victory.
Perry, who replaced Darby Allin in tournament, is now 1-2 with three points. Bailey falls to 2-2 with six points.

Also in the Gold League, Kevin Knight scored another upset victory, defeating the reigning Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada. Knight countered the Rainmaker attempt with an inside cradle to get the three count, stunning Okada.
Knight and Okada both stand at 2-2 with six points in the tournament.
Okada now has more losses through four matches in the 2025 Continental Classic than he did the entire 2024 tournament.
