Roxanne Perez On AJ Lee’s Return: She Was The Person That Made Me Realize That It Was Possible For Me To Become A WWE Superstar

Roxanne Perez is happy AJ Lee is back in WWE.

At WrestlePalooza, AJ Lee stepped into the ring again to take on Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins in a mixed tag team match. This led to Lee and Perez reuniting after over a decade, and recreating an old picture.

Speaking on Going Ringside recently, Roxanne Perez commented on AJ Lee’s WWE return earlier this year. She said Lee was her biggest inspiration in wrestling.

“Yeah, she was definitely the person that made me realize that it was possible for me to become a WWE superstar. One of my biggest inspirations, for sure.”

Lee last worked at Survivor Series 2025 in the Women’s WarGames match. In another interview she said the wrestlers in this WarGames match were a big reason she returned again. Fans can read her comments here.
