Kevin Nash Speaks About Having Different Political Views Than Levesque-McMahon Family: “They’re My Republican Family, You Know? But They’re Family”

Nash weighs in on Foley’s decision to depart WWE.
Taking to his social media pages, Mick Foley noted that he would no longer be appearing for WWE nor sign a new Legends contract while the company is affiliated with Donald Trump, who is serving as President of the United States.
That decision was weighed in on by Kevin Nash on the newest episode of his Kliq This podcast. Nash said the following about the McMahon-Levesque family’s connection to Trump:
“Mick (Foley) was in the news. He bailed, and I was just like, man, I understand it and if that’s how Mick feels, I get it, from Mick’s standpoint. But for me personally — because I had some people text me like, ‘Are you gonna follow suit?’ I said, ‘Let me explain my position.’ I called a couple people because I’m not gonna f*cking text my thought patterns, but I’m like, Paul (Levesque) and I drove up and down the road for a year and a half. Paul was the first of The Kliq to hold T (Nash’s son)… As time goes on, he gets with Steph (McMahon) and I was at their wedding. I was one of Paul’s best men. I was in the wedding. When I was Diesel, they flew my wife up to New York City and Linda (McMahon) took my wife out for the day… And that was my wife’s first visit to New York City while I was busy doing a commercial and doing some other things. Linda took care of my wife and I’ll forever be grateful for that because my wife was really nervous. I look at the McMahon-Levesque… I look at them as family. They’re just family to me. Linda knows what my political views are, and I remember we were at Barclays Center, where the Nets play… Her Suburban (truck) was coming out and I walked up to it and security guys, her detail, stopped me. It was priceless — the look she gave me. Like, you f*cking liberal, and she just looked at me, she goes, ‘Ah, he’s okay,’ and I went over and I gave her a hug and I asked her how she was doing. She said, ‘Fine.’ It’s like, they’re my Republican family, you know? But they’re family.”
Linda McMahon is serving as the United States Secretary of Education. The Trump administration is moving towards dismantling the Education Department. In February, during McMahon’s Senate confirmation hearing, she declined to answer whether Black history courses would be allowed under an executive order that Trump signed. That executive order was a plan to withhold money from K-12 schools for what the administration described as “discriminatory equity ideology” and “gender ideology.”
Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque is a member of Trump’s Presidential Fitness Council.
