Ash By Elegance reflects on advice given to her from Big Show about wrestling not always being about championships.

Since being released from her WWE contract a couple of years ago, Ash has found herself in TNA, where she developed a new character and would go on to become the TNA Knockouts Champion before vacating the title and stepping away from the ring for the time being.

While speaking to SquareFamilyWrestling in a new interview alongside Mandy Rose, Ash By Elegance was asked about advice given to her by another pro wrestler, pointing to advice given to him by Big Show.

“My advice was actually probably from Big Show and he had mentioned it’s not always about a title. It’s about the longevity of your career. If you can fit the shoes of many different characters, you’ll be very successful because wrestling is all about, a babyface, a heel, and if you can do it well, you’re going to have a job for a very long time. So it’s not always about a championship or a title, which, I mean, that’s always amazing to have. It’s about the longevity of your career and how many different shoes you can fill.”

In a recent interview with Fightful, Ash also shared how it feels to take wrestlers under her wing. You can read more about that here.
